Lavrick Willocks gets 6 years for $5.8million dollar lottery scamming.

A Jamaican man Lavrick Willocks is receiving 6 years in lottery scam that defrauded at least 95 Americans upwards the amount of $5.8 million US dollars. The operation was spearheaded from a manchion where Wilcox and his mother Deliah Hunter lived. The targeted areas were North and South Dakota, South Carolina, Texas and Arizona. There were reported people losing life savings and even a case of suicide was reported. 27 people were charged in this case as the investigation was launched in 2012. The majority have been either convicted or sentenced including his mom Deliah Hunter who received 1 1/2 years and time served and Willocks, who was facing 40 years for 65 other charges but received just 6 years after cooperating with law enforcement.
