According to reports one member of one of the best rap groups ever in our rapper culture Prodigy has died at the age of 42. Prodigy has been battling with sickle cell anemia for as long as we know. Prodigy was currently on tour but was hospitalized in Vegas for a couple of days. He was on the Art of RapTour along with other rap gods like Onyx, KRS-1, Ghost Face to name a few.
The other member of the group was rapper and producer HAVOC. The biggest hits they had were “SHOOK ONES’ and “Quiet STORM”. Prodigy had got into a little trouble some time ago but upon his return he wrote a book showing his skills on cooking! Prodigy and the whole MOBB DEEP era will never be forgotten. When we speak of classic records and classic hip hop, their music sits right in there.
